Wellness for Caregivers

A therapeutic program designed to help caregivers:

  • Discover the tools they need to overcome and prevent burnout.
  • Be a more effective caregiver.
  • Improve their quality of life.

This 5 session group therapy is offered by CrossPointe Counseling and is directed by Thom Wilder.  Based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) principles and techniques, this program helps caregivers deal with their circumstances through:

  • Radical Acceptance
  • Distress Tolerance
  • Emotion Regulation and Mindfulness
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness
